FAQ’s: LEGAL MEDICAL USE OF CANNABIS IN CALIFORNIA

Greetings California Residents!

NOTICE TO CONSUMERS: The Compassionate Use Act of 1996 ensures that seriously ill Californians have the right to obtain and use marijuana for medical purposes where medical use is deemed appropriate and has been recommended by a physician who has determined that the person’s health would benefit from the use of medical marijuana. Physicians are licensed and regulated by the Medical Board of California and arrive at the decision to make this recommendation in accordance with accepted standards of medical responsibility.

We realize that this Cannabis culture is a complex and confusing area to explore.
We are here to educate and shed some light on the current “state” of affairs with regards to Medical Cannabis use and procurement.

Here are some answers to some of the many FAQ’s that you may have…
Firstly, we need to remind you that Cannabis is currently a Schedule One categorized substance and as such is BANNED from federal research and studies.

We do not agree. We believe in the “states rights” to override this arbitrary and ridiculous classification and urge the Federal Government to re-schedule the substance to at least schedule 2 or 3, if not total decriminalization and legalization on a countrywide basis. AND ALLOW MEDICAL TESTING.

However, you do not need to worry about what the Federal Government says about the medical use and possession of Cannabis & Cannabis products (sb-420) as long as you remain within the State of California and obey the laws within this state and do not transport the materials out of state. You must also obtain a recommendation from a licensed medical doctor for the use of Cannabis for your particular needs.
